Sketch Saturday Challenge #595 with Riley and Company

20200128_004209

Hi Everyone!  Welcome back to Sketch Saturday Challenge!  Our sponsor this year is Riley and Company! They have such fun images and sentiments and this card has two from their site! Wondering Midge and Transplant List are what I used on this card!

This is an A2 size card or 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 inches. I used a black card base and a 12 X 12 Paperpad from Michaels for the papers. I couldn’t find it on the site so I don’t think they have it anymore. I used Art Glitter Glue for the adhesive throughout the card.

I cut down the back panel to 5 1/4 X 4 inches and adhered it to the card base. I cut a strip of black cardstock to 2 1/2 X 4 inches and used Fiskars scissors to cut the scalloped edge.  Then I cut a strip down to about 1 1/4 X 4 inches and adhered it to the center of the black strip.  I used a black gel pen to draw in the stitches. I adhered it down towards the bottom of the card.

Then I cut two pink panels from stash to 2 1/4 X 3 and 2 X 1 3/4 inches.  I cut two panels from white card stock to 2 X 2 3/4 and 1 3/4 X 1 1/2 inches for the image and sentiment. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and did some quick coloring with Copic markers. The sentiment I stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.  I adhered the panels following the sketch.

To finish it off I added a couple Pink Rhinestones and light pink twine I tied into a double bow.  Check out my video that shows you how to tie a double bow HERE!

Thank you for stopping by and be sure to join in on the Challenge for your chance to win a prize!
