Hi Everyone! Luci here and I’m over at the Southern Girls Challenge Blog with some inspiration using the Chibi Unicorn Blythe image from Scrapper’s Delights, Winter in Pink Paper Pad from SFL , the sentiment is from Lawn Fawn’s So Jelly, some iridescent sequins, and the Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen. Be sure to join the Anything Goes Challenge for your chance to win!
For today’s card, I did some Iris Folding. The card is a 5 1/2 inch square card base made from Neenah Solar White card stock. I cut down a piece of the paper pad to 5 1/2 inches square and used a star die to cut out the star shape for the iris folding. I found an image online that I used as a template. It was watermarked from circleofcrafters.com but I couldn’t get the site to work.
Check out a video on how to do Iris Folding HERE!
I finished up the Iris Folding and used the next size up star die and the original star die to cut a frame from a piece of scrap dark gray cardstock and popped it on around the star with some Art Glitter glue.
I printed out Blythe and colored her with Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils. I used colors that matched the papers I used from the paper pad. I used my Scan N Cut to cut out the images. I added the colors I used in a photo below.
I added the piece with the Iris Folding to the card base with foam tape around added to the back areas around the folding.
I added the image to the front, the stars from the image around, and stamped the sentiment on the front, then added some sequins, and used the Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen to highlight some areas on the image and stars.
