Hi Everyone! Welcome to the Sketch Saturday Challenge #669! Our sponsor this year is Riley and Company
Today I used the stamps “Dress Up Riley- North Pole“, and ”Santa’s Naughty List” from Riley and Company.
Today I made a Christmas Card, never to early to start! I used a white 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 in. card base, I cut a red back panel 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 in. and a 3 1/2 in. white square. I used Salty Ocean Distress Ink and a blending brush just to add a little color to the white panel. I cut a stitched hill from white cardstock and adhered it to the bottom of the 3 1/2 in. panel.
I stamped the workshop twice, a set of the trees, the Santa’s Workshop sign with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink.
I cut out the roof top and lights from one of the images and highlighted the snow drifts with cool gray alcohol markers. I colored the bottom of the other image, chimney, trees, and the sign with the Ohuhu Alcohol Markers.
I added the trees and the total workshop image with liquid glue to the square, I used foam tape to pop up the roof and adhered it to the roof on the first image, and foam tape to pop up the Santa’s Workshop sign and added it to the roof.
I cut three strips 1/2 in. wide and one 4 1/4 in. long and the other 2 about 1 1/2 in. from some scrap pattern paper from my stash and glued them to the red card panel according to the sketch, and then adhere the square panel. I made a bow from green card stock and adhered it to the card according to the card sketch.
The finish the card I stamped the sentiment inside the card with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.
